The School District of Lee County has selected GATES as the builder for their new Transportation Facility in Lehigh. The Leonard Transportation Facility, as it is known, is a 20,000 square foot building designed by HADP Architecture, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida.
"We look forward to continuing our relationship with The School District of Lee County by delivering this project within budget and schedule as we have in past projects with The District," said John Hayes, President of GATES Butz Institutional Construction, LLC.
Upon completion in Spring 2009, the bus maintenance facility will be a permanent structure replacing the current portable trailers used for office space. It will also provide an enclosed garage area for bus maintenance. The structure is designed as a pre-engineered metal building at the garage area with a split face concrete-masonry-unit (CMU) at the office area. The pre-engineered metal building is a NUCOR product for which GATES is an authorized distributor/erector.
GATES, with offices in Florida and the Republic of Panama, is a fully integrated construction, development and real estate company. For more information on GATES, please call (239) 593-3777.
