Gates McVey has been ranked second highest in volume among top commercial construction companies from Tampa to Naples based on revenue in Gulf Coast Business Review's Annual Top 50 Contractors edition. Also noted in the issue is one of the largest Gates McVey projects started in 2006; Challenger Middle School and Patriot Elementary School. The project includes the simultaneous construction of two separate schools on a 40 acre site. The 2-story elementary school and 3-story middle school will open for the 2007-2008 school year in Cape Coral.
