The firm is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Florida Green Building Coalition and is experienced constructing LEED certified projects. GATES recently completed the first LEED Silver Rated commercial project ever constructed in Lee or Collier Counties and has LEED Accredited professionals on staff.
In 2007 and 2008, GATES was ranked as one of the Largest Builders on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Southeast Construction Magazine, a division of McGraw-Hill, also ranked GATES as a “Top Contractor” in the 4-state region. Also in 2007, the Lee Building Industry Association (Lee BIA) named GATES the “Contractor of the Year”.
