The Collier Building Industry Association’s (CBIA) Remodelors Council honored seven companies at the Remodeling Excellence Awards (REA) ceremony December 6 at the Naples Robb & Stucky showroom.
This was the inaugural year for the awards and also the first year to honor one person as Remodelor of the Year.
The REA committee received 23 entries for 11 categories and four entries for the Remodelor of the Year. The winners were chosen by industry experts from Southwest Florida. Judges focused on the difficulty of the remodel, materials used, length of time to complete work, cost of the project, livability/functionality, quality of workmanship and overall design.
Remodelor of the Year was awarded to the individual who exhibited a high level of CBIA activity, industry accomplishments, and community involvement.
The Grand Sponsors were Gulfshore Life Magazine and Robb & Stucky. Diamond sponsor was DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen, a division of Reed & Company. Awards Sponsors were Natural Stone Concepts and Bonded Builders Home Warranty Association. Emerald Sponsors were Abbie Joan Enterprises, Homeworks of Collier County, Naples Flooring Gallery, Norris Furniture, Wm.J.Varian Construction Co., Inc., The Lykos Group and Ryan Construction.
