“GATES Builds Futures” Internship/Graduate Program
GATES Internship/Graduate Program provides students pursuing construction, or other curriculums within the design-build construction environment, the opportunity to gain knowledge, and work experience before or after graduation. Many of our Interns or Graduates are offered permanent positions and transition into a successful career at GATES.
At GATES we strongly believe in investing in your future. As an Intern/Graduate, you’ll be given the same types of responsibilities assigned to a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent. You will be given meaningful assignments and will have the opportunity to interact with Project Managers, Superintendents, Owners, and Subcontractors. At the completion of your graduation or internship, you will have valuable experience and knowledge gained by exposure to a variety of project types and construction stages.
Our program is available primarily to college students pursuing or graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or other majors related to the Design-Build Environment.
What to expect from your “GATES Builds Futures” experience:
- On the job training, both in the office and in the field
- Real tasks assigned to provide work experience
- Field trips to a variety of different types of job sites
- Mentoring from Project Managers and the Director of Construction and Operations
